Front Office Team
Co-Founder and JO Ambassador
In 2012, Nathan and I fulfilled a dream when we opened Johnson Orthodontics, a practice centered on patients and our community. I spent every day at the office for many years. I wore many hats, from assisting to scheduling to treatment coordinating to marketing to insurance, and even cleaning the bathrooms! When our children were born, I was fortunate to be able to take some time away from the office and begin transitioning into the new role as our marketing director. Now I try to spend most of my time behind the scenes. You’ll often find me lending a hand with marketing or re-decorating the office.
I enjoy watching Nathan fulfill his dream of practicing orthodontics, and I absolutely love seeing the reaction of patients when they see their smile for the first time after they’ve completed treatment. Working with our team is a truly gratifying experience. Each team member is passionate about their job, and they go above and beyond for our patients. Outside of the office, you’ll find me volunteering with the Junior League of Huntsville, serving on Huntsville Hospital’s Development Council and being a chauffeur to our kiddos (Eli and Ava).
Front Office Manager
I spent ten years in commercial banking before making the jump to orthodontic management in 2014. I’m so happy that I did! My coworkers make me look forward to coming to work every day! We are a team that really cares about each other and works very well together to help our patients achieve their goals.
I have two wonderful daughters who bring me so much joy every day. One is an aspiring photographer, and my other is studying to be a nurse. When I am not in the office, you will find me doing something outdoors. I love hiking and camping with my husband; we really enjoy exploring and going on new adventures. I also really enjoy crafting: from wood carving to cake decorating, DIY projects keep me busy!
I joined the Johnson Orthodontics team in 2013. I started working as an orthodontic assistant and quickly transitioned to the treatment coordinator, and that role has now evolved to marketing director. I love being a part of the JO team, and contributing behind the scenes and making sure we are staying connected with the community and our patients outside of the office. We take so much pride in giving back and supporting our local community, whether it’s donating supplies to a PTA, sponsoring a ball team, or giving to a local nonprofit.
My husband Cris and I have two adult kids, Nate and Lauren. Our son Nate is a senior at Alabama — Roll Tide! — and our daughter Lauren is a senior at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. My husband served in the Army for 20 years, so we have been lucky enough to travel the world and our kids loved it as much as we did! When I’m not at work, you will find me spending time on the lake with our friends and family.
I began my career in the orthodontic dental field in 2009, and I am so proud to be a part of the JO Dream Team! As the treatment coordinator, I am the lucky one who gets to know the patient first before anyone else. Luckily, my nine years of experience as a clinical orthodontic assistant have helped me excel in the treatment coordinator role. Part of my job is to educate you about your orthodontic treatment and work out finances that fit best for your budget. But my absolute favorite part is learning about all of your goals, your background, and working with you to make sure that we make you happy. You may not know it yet, but I can already envision you with your new, beaming, simply amazing smile and how this will change your life forever.
I hail from a small town in DeKalb County called Fyffe. Most of you may know about it by the sighting of the UFO in 1989 — haha! I now reside in Madison County, where I met and married my husband Chad in 2009, and we have two beautiful daughters, Jolie and Addie Rose. In our spare time, we enjoy spending our time at the lake, shopping, and of course, cheering on the ROLL TIDE! I love my family with my whole heart, and I am truly blessed to be a wife and mommy.
Scheduling / Insurance Coordinator
I began my career as a scheduling coordinator in the general dental field in 2011 and joined the Johnson Orthodontics team in 2016. What I love most about my job are the relationships I’ve built with our families. I believe I am at my best when I can connect with people. This goes for our team as well! Each person is dedicated to their job and brings good energy to our patients. There’s also a sense of togetherness and love that we have for one another — I felt that unity from day one. This team is the family I never knew I needed.
I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland, but I spent most of my childhood in Kentucky (GO BIG BLUE), and I’ve lived overseas for three years. It’s because of my childhood I love learning about and exploring different cultures; later in life, I would like to travel the world. My husband and I met in 1998 while in high school, and we have two beautiful sons, Armani and Jayden. In my free time, I like to be with my family and friends, either bowling, playing games, or watching sports.
Front Desk / Scheduling Coordinator
I have worked in the dental field for almost ten years but didn’t find my work home until I joined Johnson Orthodontics in 2019. My smile is one of the first things to greet our patients when they walk through our doors. I’m also here to assist with appointment scheduling and be as helpful as possible to my team. Together, we create a great and fun environment where we welcome everyone with open arms and hearts.
My spouse Robert and I have been married for 25 years. We have three grown children — Andrew, Zachary, and Malorie — as well as a bulldog named Buster. My hobbies include decorating, hiking and long walks, arts and crafts, and most of all, spending time with family.
I graduated from the North Alabama dental assisting program in 2014 and joined the Johnson Orthodontics team shortly after that. We are so lucky to have such an amazing team! We are constantly there for each other, and all work together to make our patients’ experience great! It’s wonderful to be a part of their beautiful smile transformations!
I’m originally from Albertville but moved to Hartselle in 2012. My husband Ethan and I have two kids, Oliver and Eleanor, as well as two dogs, Marcie and Gunther. In my free time, I enjoy online shopping, photography, and lazy Netflix days.
I went to the North Alabama dental assisting program in 2017 and then started my job here at Johnson Orthodontics. I love my job and work family! I have been able to learn so much from my coworkers and love the funny moments that I will never forget! As I assist Dr. Johnson with adjustments throughout our patients’ treatment, I get to see their reactions when they finally get a smile that gives them confidence. It’s the best part of my job!
I am married to my best friend, Andrew. I do not have any pets yet, but I’m working on it! My dream pet is a mini Goldendoodle, and if you know me, you know how badly I want one! I love to shop and may actually have a problem!
I earned my associate’s degree in general education and my dental assisting certificate in 2016, and have been a Johnson Orthodontics team member since 2017. I’m so lucky to spend my days helping patients have a happy healthy smile! The smile on a patient’s face when they see their final results is the absolute most rewarding feeling!
I have a beautiful little girl named Karoline and in my spare time, you can catch me watching TV or playing outside with my baby girl. I enjoy spending time with my family and hanging out with friends. I love to attend concerts and to travel the world, especially the beach!
I earned my Associate of Science degree and dental assisting certification in 2018 and was excited to join the Johnson Orthodontics team in 2019. I do a little bit of everything, from greeting patients and taking X-rays and photos to lending a hand anywhere else I’m needed! Our team is like my second family — we all get our jobs done efficiently while having a great time doing it! My role here lets me meet so many interesting people, and I love seeing their smiles transform!
At home, I have a sweet rescue dog named Momo. In my off time, I typically teach her tricks or go on walks with her. I also enjoy watching TV, playing video games, drawing, and reading!
I began my dental career in 1997, when I earned an associate’s degree and licensed as a registered dental assistant. I moved back to Alabama in 2018 and found an awesome home here at Johnson Orthodontics! We all work hard every day to take the best care of our patients — there is nothing better than seeing them smile! I believe in the quality of work we provide and our dedication to patient satisfaction. They are like family, and nothing is better than family!
My life has been an adventure! I am engaged to a wonderful man. Together, we have three daughters, one son, two sons-in-law, and two awesome grandsons. My passions include music, softball, and traveling and seeing what the world has in it.
In 2013, I earned my associate’s in applied science and a license as a dental assistant. After working for eight years, I was lucky enough to join the team at Johnson Orthodontics. I do whatever it takes to help our patients achieve great smiles, from setting them up for treatment to taking the braces off and everything in between! The best part of my day is seeing a patient happy about the final product of their smile!
My husband Christopher and I have a daughter named Chloe. I’m a huge Georgia Bulldog fan! I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family and love going to festivals every year to see all the fun arts and crafts. We also try to vacation in a different state each year because I love magnets, and I get one from each state and national park we visit.
Born and raised in South Louisiana, I ventured up to the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa to seek a degree in human development and family studies. In class, I met my lifelong love and partner, Ali! As he finished his football career and degree and I finished my degree, we decided to reside in Huntsville. After working with children for years, I decided to change careers into the dental and orthodontic fields and have loved the transition very much! There is something truly unique about bringing confidence and positive self-esteem to patients through the whole process of creating their beautiful smile!
I’m a crazy animal lover and enjoy spending time with our fun-loving pup Pearl and two crazy cats Banjo and CatMan. I’m a passionate equestrian and I love exploring the outdoors and trails in our ATV Razor or on horseback! I have a love/hate relationship with working out as often as I can at Iron Tribe! I also enjoy spreading awareness about osteogenesis imperfecta in memory of our baby Zane, as well as spending time to help our local homeless community through Tent City Project!
