We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.
We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
As treatment coordinator, my primary role is to ensure you have an amazing orthodontic experience, from your initial exam to your treatment consultation. We discuss any treatment plans Dr. Johnson has recommended. My favorite part of my job, hands down, is being with our patients. As corny as that sounds, they have such an impact on my everyday life! I’m so blessed to be a part of this team because of one word: family. Dr. Johnson and the girls are my family!
I have been married to my husband Cris for 22 years, and we have two awesome kids. Nate is 19 and goes to the University of Alabama—Roll Tide! Our daughter Lauren is 16 and will graduate next year and plans to move to LA or NYC (although secretly I hope she stays closer to home). I’m a huge football fan and one of my dreams was to be on “Saturday Night Live.”
I have worked in orthodontics since 1989 and was welcomed to Johnson Orthodontics with open arms from our supportive, fun team. As one of our treatment assistants, I enjoy helping Dr. Johnson create beautiful smiles and educating our patients on their orthodontic health. The best part of my job is seeing patients get so excited about getting braces, and at the end of treatment, seeing that same excitement return!
I am married with a total of five children and three grandchildren. I enjoy the mountains, reading, and being a “Lolli” with my adorable grandchildren.
Front Desk Coordinator
I’m the one greeting all of our patients with a contagious smile, which makes the idea of having to fill out paperwork a little less daunting. While I am new to this office, I have six years of experience in insurance and customer service, and five years of experience as a front desk coordinator/treatment planner. I put that
to good use to make our patients’ time in our office as pleasant and efficient as possible! The atmosphere is electric at Johnson Orthodontics. We come from different backgrounds, we cheer for different teams, but together we make a terrific unit!
I married my high school sweetheart Chris, and we are going on 13 years strong. We have two beautiful and very active boys, Armani and Jayden. We moved to Madison in March 2010 from Kentucky (Go Big Blue!). In my spare time I like to go to the movies and shout Go Big Blue! while watching a UK game with my husband. I also enjoy bowling and trying new foods.
As the financial coordinator, I handle all financial arrangements for orthodontic treatment, including contracts, billing, insurance claims, CareCredit, Health Savings Account payments, and itemized statements. I love meeting new patients and forming bonds to where they feel important and comfortable. Making our patients feel they are a part of the Johnson Orthodontics family is very important to me. I always love to see our patients’ beautiful new smiles and end results. We call ourselves the Dream Team and I believe we truly are! The girls and I have a bond that is stronger than just co-workers—we are family! I am super glad that I get to spend my days with this fun, hard-working group of girls.
I married my husband Julio in 1998 and we have two beautiful teenage daughters, Lexie and Emmalee. We all love to travel, hike, and visit new places. Cheering on the Crimson Tide and playing with our three Pomeranian pups are just a few of our favorite pastimes!
I assist Dr. Johnson with the treatment of our awesome patients in addition to being the office’s social media maven! This gives me a chance to spread the word to people throughout our community about the wonderful smiles created at Johnson Orthodontics. My team and I like to make the office a fun place, both for ourselves and our patients!
My husband and I have been married for about a year now! We have two dogs: a pug and an English bulldog mix that always seem to keep us busy with their antics. My hobbies usually include Netflix binging, photography, and going to car meets.
My main role is to assist Dr. Johnson, but just as importantly, I provide the comedic relief! I like being challenged by interesting cases, and seeing them through to the very end. Those smiles always mean the most to me. As a proud part of this team, I love the camaraderie we share, the fun we have, and the best part: making everyone laugh!
My husband Ashley and I have been married since 2003 and have three dogs and four cats (always subject to change) rescued from various places from around the great state of Alabama, some of which include an abandoned den in the woods and a cave! I love nature, am an avid hiker and gardener, and keep bees. I play the banjo and guitar and have a passion for preserving the “old-time” ways. Oh yeah, and I’m the only Auburn fan in our office … a proud and true War Eagle!
I graduated from Samford University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations, which helped prepare me for my role as marketing director. Since Dr. Johnson and I opened the practice in 2012, I’ve really enjoyed seeing our vision come to life and creating a unique space to serve our patients. Our office has a different look from most doctors’ offices because we want patients to have a different experience: We want our patients to enjoy every trip to our office and know that they are part of our family.
I no longer spend every day in the office, but enjoy contributing behind the scenes and making sure we stay connected with the community and our patients outside of the office. Whether it’s sponsoring a ball team, donating supplies to a PTA, or giving to a local nonprofit, we take pride in giving back and supporting the community we work in.
Dr. Johnson and I have been married since 2009. We have two beautiful babies, Eli and Ava, who are the light of our lives.
When I’m not chasing around my kiddos or helping out at the office, I have a freelance graphic design business that keeps me busy.
